World Professional Poker Tour
World Professional Poker Tour (WPPT) is all set to make its debut on 20th February, 2012 with its very first series at the “Clubs Card Room” in Casino Carnival (Goa). WPPT has already announced a series of eight international poker tournaments, which will take place across the globe including some exotic destinations like Egypt, Cambodia, Spain and Slovenia culminating with the grand finale at Las Vegas in November.
The WPPT Goa India Tour will take place from 20th-26th February and the highlight of the series will the INR 100k buy-in tourney - "WPPT Deep Stack" Main Event. Sergie Mazza (WPPT CEO) describes the WPPT Deep Stack as a 5 day tournament with over 300 players. “The "Deep Stack" concept is 50,000 starting stack and allows players to play poker! Players can play more hands, recover from a bad beat, fold bad cards and still have time to employ their own strategies. A WPPT "Deep Stack" event guarantees the players will enjoy a fabulous poker tournament experience, whether they are a rookie or a pro” comments Sergie.
