    Intervention wins PGT INR 5K Re-buy Tournament

    After trading blows for over 90 mins the heads-up battle is finally over and its yesterday`s runner-up and Team Mentor Aditya 'Intervention' Agarwal who is the last man standing after defeating Team PokerGuru Pro Amit Varma in a fiercely contested heads up match.

    Action:

    Amit Varma moves allin from the button with over 90,000 chips, Intervention in big blind position makes the call.

    And we see the final board of the tournament which opens , Intervention manages to hold on to his lead knocking out Amit Varma in 2nd place for INR 165,000. Intervention will take home a whopping sum of INR 320,000 for his 1st place finish. Congratulations to all players who made it in the money tonight.

    Just when we thought that the Event was finally over , the board gave Amit a pair of 4's on the turn for a double up and he takes back the lead in the head-up match.

    Intervention who started the final table as the chipleader has now regained his lead after a double-up.

    On a board of , Intervention bets out 13500, Amit Varma raises it to 30,000, Intervention snap moves allin and Amit Varma too calls instantly flipping over for top pair but to his dismay Intervention tables for two pairs. River is ; Intervention takes down the pot and the chiplead!

    In the last hand before the break, PokerGuru Pro Amit Varma opens with a raise of 6500 from the button, Aditya Sushant in small blind re-raises it to 16500, Amit makes it 34500 more to go, Aditya moves allin for 126,200 chips and Amit calls.

    Flop gets Aditya in the driver`s seat with Ace pair , Turn is and Amit is now looking for a Jack and the Team PokerGuru Rail wakes up the entire Card Room as the River brings Amit the much needed and with that Aditya is left crippled with just 200 chips and is eliminated the very next hand.

    It`s heads-up for the title between Aditya 'Intervention' Agarwal and Amit Varma with Amit Varma in the lead at the moment. 






    Husain gets unlucky to finish 4th

    Husain Lakda on back to back final tables at the opening series of PGT Season 2, has just been eliminated in 4th place.

    Intervention opens for 7000 from under the gun position, Aditya Sushant in small blind position flats, Husain Lakda in big blind position moves allin with 30,000 chips, Intervention folds but Aditya Sushant makes the call.

    Husain was looking at a double up but the board opened   to give Aditya a better flush and we lose Husain in 4th place. Well played Husain!

    We are now 3 way for the PGT Event 2 Title with the Mentor - Aditya 'Intervention' Agarwal battling it out with his mentees Amit Varma and Aditya Sushant! 






    Devendra crashes out in 5th place

    Devendra Surana who started on the final table as the shortest stack has managed to outlast 4 eliminations to make it in the money.

    In his last hand of the tournament, Devendra opens with a raise of 6000 from cutoff position, Team PokerGuru Pro Amit Varma re-raises it to 13000, Aditya Sushant in big blind 4-bets it to 23000, Devendra moves allin for 24800 chips, Amit calls and so does Aditya with both players having stacks behind.

    The flop is , both Aditya and Amit check the flop.

    The turn is , and action goes check-check again.

    The river is , again both players check and we head towards a showdown:

    Devendra shows , Amit tables and Aditya mucks.

    Devendra is out in 5th place as Amit rakes in the pot!
