Playing against better opponent (tough spot)

    Hi guys,
Many times in online tournament you find a better opponent sitting on a table and you already know that opponent is highly capable in making a play... So what shud be done in that condition? shud we always try to avoid that opponent and look for fish on table? ... Consider me a noob in tournament poker and any advise of any sort will valuable...
Major advantage with cash games is u can always rebuy and even if opponent is making a play u can always check out....which is not possible in tournament..
posting a spot like this from a PGOL for an example...

    Poker Stars $1.00+$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t15/t30 Blinds - 9 players

    HUSAINLAKDA (UTG+1): t2295 76.50 BBs
    Hero (UTG+2): t2600 86.67 BBs
    intervntion (MP1): t1425 47.50 BBs
    VinaySuchede (MP2): t2572 85.73 BBs
    vshenoy (CO): t2240 74.67 BBs
    jetmukesh (BTN): t2796 93.20 BBs
    samohhh (SB): t4270 142.33 BBs
    nutscracker9 (BB): t1267 42.23 BBs
    DoctorPorker (UTG): t5226 174.20 BBs

Pre Flop: (t45) Hero is UTG+2 with K :spade: Q
2 folds, Hero raises to t90, 4 folds, samohhh calls t75, 1 fold

    Flop: (t210) Q :spade: 8 :club: 9 :diamond: (2 players)
samohhh checks, Hero bets t110, samohhh calls t110

    Turn: (t430) T  (2 players)
samohhh checks, Hero bets t310, samohhh raises to t758, Hero calls t448

    River: (t1946) 5 :club: (2 players)
samohhh bets t3312 all in, Hero ?????

Consider urself playing on a FT and 2 opponent out of 9 have a positive sharkscope stat of 100K+....So how to manage those opponents??

before the regs chime in..jus my thoughts.....Samohh's calling range from sb is much tighter than ur opening range.....so considering the fact that he called oop, and assuming he called u on the flop on such a wet board, u should have prepared ur courseof action on turn and river well in advance....have not played much tournies but the worst card on the deck fell on the turn...if i were u am checking behind or bet folding the turn....am never calling the turn.... so i feel if u had checked the turn u would be happy to call a river bet from samohh jus to find out where u were or in most circumstances assuming samohh was bluffing he won bet the river and u have solid showdown!!

I would have checked back the turn.. river is a fold here ..

PS: don't be intimidated by opponents.. get better yourself and make the +EV decision.. ..

bet around 130 on flop. check the turn after checked to you!
As played, there are not many hands that you are beating on the river. Fold...
