European Poker Tour's first-ever €100.000 buy-in Super High Roller event is now underway in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
According to PokerStars Blog, a total of 38 players paid the six-figure buy-in to play in the tournament.
The tournament has also a re-entry option, and there were five re-entries on Day 1. Also, both Gus Hansen and Leon Tsoukernik will be firing another bullet into play today when day 2 kicks off.
A total of 29 players will come back today with Talal Shakerchi currently leading the way with a whopping 1.165 million in chips.
Shakerchi, for example, eliminated Viktor "Isildur1" Blom from the tournament on one of the last hands of the night.
