Full Tilt deal to be completed next week?

According to a source with good understanding in the situation between Full Tilt Poker and Bernard Tapie Group, Laurent Tapie has moved to Dublin, Ireland, where Pocket Kings (the owners of Full Tilt Poker) has its head office. Laurent Tapie, son of the well-known politician and entrepreneur Bernard Tapie, has been in charge of completing the Full Tilt deal since the negotiations began in September last year.

The source, who's not named anywhere, says that Laurent Tapie is now finalizing the deal between Bernard Tapie Group and Full Tilt and the official agreement should be signed sometime next week. This means that Full Tilt Poker might be ready for a new launch in Europe in a couple of weeks.

However, no official statements have been made by either Full Tilt or Bernard Tapie Group since the beginning of March when Full Tilt's CEO Ray Bitar apologized to poker world (almost 1 year after Black Friday), so we will have to wait a bit longer before we know for sure what's going to happen

Recent news indicate that things may well be on track for Full Tilt to resume operations soon. These speculations have come to light ever since Pocket Kings (Parent Company of Full Tilt Poker) posted employment ads on jobs.ie looking for customer service staff and Quality Agents.

    Positive updates on FTP

In the past few days there has been a flurry of posts in TwoPlusTwo regarding Full Tilt Poker’s comeback. Some of these stories have been either overstated or entirely fictitious, but we believe that several are accurate.

A poster on TwoPlusTwo used solocheck.ie to learn that Laurent Tapie, Managing Director of FTP, is registered as the director of a company that was originally incorporated in Ireland on February 4th, 2012. The company changed its name to "New Full Tilt Limited" on April 11th. To view additional details on this company click here.
In addition a company named “Full Tilt Holding Limited” has been registered in Malta. This information came from the Malta Financial Services Authority's website.

In the past few days, Pocket Kings has started recruiting candidates through Irish online recruiting site jobs.ie. The most recently listed position, for a job as "Creative Junior Graphic Designer", was added on the morning of April 17th.

Another, potentially good Full Tilt Poker news came when the operational ‘green’ System Status was briefly up on FullTiltPoker.eu. It reportedly displayed 411 players online at various points in time over the last days. However, it is up to the readers to guess whether this was just simply a bug, miss-click or an indication of the testing of FTP’s servers.

Full Tilt Poker showing Signs of Life

Nobody can actually use the new Full Tilt Poker software at this point, but some players have claimed recently that they had been asked to upgrade their software from the pre-Black Friday version (4.39.7) to version 4.45.10 and accept revised terms and conditions.

PokerGuru.in will bring more updates as soon as possible.
