This is my first blog on pokerguru so ill introduce myself a little. Im Abhishek Kedia from Mumbai. Im in my final year of Electrical Engineering from Sardar Patel College of Engg. Been playing online for a year now and I have a couple of observations/starting advice for beginners. A lot of people dont know how much money to deposit initially. Any sum ranging from 15-50$ is enough cushion if you have your basic poker concepts clear. I would recommend only Pokerstars for beginners since they have such a wide range of low stakes tourneys.
You must start playing ONLY the 25c 45 player sitngos and play them until u make at least 3-4 final tables. After that there are 2 tourneys that happen at 2-30 in the afternoon that are slightly tougher the 55c(500gtd) and 10c(50$ added) play these they will give u practice for long grinds.
The mantra for beginner's success is good bankroll management. The rule is to have 40 tourney buy ins. I have had some success using this formula. Will talk about it more in my future blogs
