Yes, it’s true. ;-). But wait.
Before you send me a supari (contract) to kill your rival gangster, DON’s in my world actually stands for Double or Nothing’s. This is a poker game played in a sit and go setting online. Usually there are 10 players, out of which 5 double their money minus the rake and 5 of them bust out.
Lots of you poker players are aware of them and may have even played them at some time or the other. But after Pokerstars stopped the DON’s format (and replaced it with 50-50), it kind of decreased in popularity. But on sites like 888.com (a part of Pacific poker network) where I play, these are still popular and are still soft enough to make a living off. Also these are one of the lowest variance game-form of poker. I could be found multi-tabling and grinding them from 5pm onwards onto the wee hours of the morning when site traffic is at its peak. Last month has been pretty decent. I am attaching my last month’s graph herewith<img src="http://www.pokerguru.in/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=64&d=1354389101&thumb=1" border="0" alt="Click image for larger version

In fact most of the months are (decent). It is like a job. There are no major downswings. Just keep grinding a steady profit. There is scope of improvement however. Getting better win-rates is possible. Usually my improvement is done by reviewing hand histories using tools like SNGWiz etc. These really help in bettering your push/fold game which is the most critical element in DON’s.<img src="http://www.pokerguru.in/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=65&d=1354389433&thumb=1" border="0" alt="Click image for larger version

I currently stay in Goa, where I can play and take shots at small buyin live tournaments as well. Goa though is pretty expensive place to stay and grind. The plan ahead is to grind these for few more months and get a decent enough bankroll to grind the live full ring games. With rake structures being rationalized recently at the local casinos, I think the lowest limit games of 100/200 have become decent and beatable. I look forward to being on the live felt in the coming months.
Will keep you all updated via blogs here.

Hi guys,
i've been missing out on blogging for sometime now, and have been keeping busy with a new environment in Goa. Yes i have shifted base, and with that have decided to play poker with more dicipiline and aggression as ever. So i have this resolution that i have come up with, a new goal which is to start my poker month with an initial bankroll of $400 and then grind my way to cross $2k just by playing $10 buyin SnG DoNs.
What i'll be doing with it is, i'll be blogging about it every sunday on pokerguru forum and about my progress with some graphs and hand histories so i could find out if my gameplay was correct or not and all you guys will be able to sharkscope my progress too.
And yes if any one of you is up for some healthy competition, you can definitely jump on this boat and ride with me to build some bankroll. After every one month, i'll come up with a new challenge and a new goal. Till then happy grinfing everybody.

HI ALL MY FRIENDS
This is my second blog . as i previously told our poker train starts now our aim is to look for major station and final destination. we keep playing regularly and meanwhile always discuss
how to meet with "POKER GURU TEAM" . only reason for this is " IF ANY BODY LOOKING FOR CAREER IN POKER IN INDIA , I THINK THIS TEAM IS BEST OPTION" . And finally that day comes
and thanks to NITISH GUPTA who won satellite .
Early Morning he told me "GOA CALLING" come . I was surprised and excited to meet with poker guru team . Because with winning satellite he also got 1 hour session with ADITYA AGARWAL .

BUT my problem is expense in GOA . TWO day before PGT i called RAJAT AGARWAL and never expected i got this much positive response . He told " BUDDY COME TO GOA ( YEHA AANE K BAAD BAHUT KUCH CHANGE HOO JATA HAI) " . I got my answer ,Booked ticket . And next Day i was on the way.
Next Day was my happiest day of my life I was in front of " POKER GURU TEAM" . ADITY AGARWAL , AMIT VERMA , SANGEETH SAMOH all others . when i saw them first time , nervous , shocked , excited all feeling comes .
Somehow i controlled my self ,and our session start with them .
we told everything to them .
On the other side seats for 5 K event allotted to us . Biggest fear for me comes at my table i found ADITYA AGARWAL , AMIT VERMA , ABHISHEK GOINDI on my table . really guys that time i was feeling like a " Rabbit sitting in front of three lions "
To be Continued...
:)
