The two starting days (day 1a and 1b) are now done in the inaugural European Poker Tour Campione (buy-in €5,300) in Italy. A total of 570 players participated in this tournament, creating a prize pool of over €2.76 million.

88 players will get paid with €640,000 waiting for first-place. The winner will also receive a Shamballa Jewels bracelet valued at over €10,000.

After day 2 of the PokerStars EPT Campione (buy-in €5.300), only 99 players remain, and currently leading the way is Hungarian Balazs Botond. Right behind Botond is high-stakes player and EPT Tallinn 2011 Main Event winner Ronny "1-ronnyr3" Kaiser.
