Thrill Poker Announces the Launch of Team Thrill India

Thrill Poker, which provides the finest platform for online poker in the Indian marketplace recently launched its pro team called ‘Team Thrill India’ comprising of India’s top rated tournament players – Sahil ‘Antilog’ Agarwal, Shravan Chhabria, Dhaval Mudgal, Haresh Kukreja, Jasven Saigal and Danish Shaikh.

Team Thrill made its very first appearance earlier this year in March at THOS’15, the tournament series hosted by The House of Spew in Bangalore. The event proved to be a great kickoff for the team as three of the six players made it to the Final Table at the 12K Bounty ‘The Eliminator’ event with Dhaval Mudgal taking it down!

The team has also had a splendid run at the ongoing Asian Poker Tour Philippines in Manila. The large Indian contingent has definitely made its presence felt with Team Thrill member Haresh Kukreja beating a field of 264 players and taking down the $50K GTD APT Opening Event – Team Thrill’s 1^st international victory within two months of its inception! “I’m really happy about the win; it’s one of the biggest moments of my poker career! I would also like to congratulate the rest of my team for a deep run at the event. Really proud to be part of Team Thrill”, said a triumphant Haresh on his win. Sahil ‘Antilog’ Agarwal finished in 4^th place at the Open Face Chinese Pineapple 60 Max Event as well.

Dhaval has become known for his consistent performances over the past few years. Dhaval is also the front man of Rock n’ Roll band ‘Half Step Down’ as well as former chief editor of ‘CardPlayer India’. Apart from the many scores in India, he has made a mark in Macau as well. Some of his notable wins include winning India’s first ‘Greed’ Event at Aces Unlimited, taking second place in DR Cup 10K event in 2013 and chopping the 5K Bounty event at The Red Dragon Macau. Most recently, Dhaval won ‘The Eliminator’ event at THOS’15.

Danish Shaikh Age: 27 years, Goa

Danish hails from Goa and started playing poker with play money on Zynga back in 2011 like most poker players. He has been playing poker professionally for the past three years and specializes in Multi-Table Tournaments. Haresh Kukreja is a stock broker from Mumbai who discovered poker on Facebook and has been hooked on to the game ever since. His notable wins include the APT Philippines 2015 win, where he took down the opening event, second place finish in the HK $4,500 event at Macau Poker Cup 2014 and the HK $15,000 APPT event at the 2014 Asia Championship of Poker where he finished in 7^th place.

Shravan Chhabria Age: 30 years, Mumbai
