In the PokerGuru feature ‘This Week in Poker’ we bring to you the weekly round up of the biggest online scores by Indian MTT players along with the top stories from both the live and online poker circuit.

Here are this week`s top stories

After a slew of live action, this past week was one dominated by the online hustle. It was the WCOOP and 888 poker XL Eclipse series, which had players busy at the virtual tables. The score-card took off blazingly last week with Siddarth Singhvi winning a whopping $41,035.53 for second place in the ‘WCOOP-29-H: $2,100 NLO8 [6-Max], $200K GTD’ event to score the biggest cash of this series by an Indian so far. By the virtue of this score, Singhvi also claims our “PokerGuru Star of the Week” title.

Meanwhile, Adda52’s ‘Sunday Suits’ made a great debut with a total of 444 entries with Vivek ‘Ikkvr’ Rughani taking down the event for ₹2,55,300.

PokerBaazi’s ‘The Endeavour’ tournament also concluded this week and was taken down by Nitish ‘KICKASS’ Sharma for ₹3,03,750.

Live action was headlined by Macau Poker Cup (MPC) 27 that concluded on Sunday, witnessing a continued impressive performance by Team India, with several cashes and two titles!

And, right here on our desi shores, the DPT is set to kick off this week at the Deltin Royale Casino in Goa this week from September 14-18.

PokerStars as usual made news this time for two more reasons. First the company announced flattened payouts for their online MTT’s and they also announced the first-ever PokerStars Festival stop in Germany.

In other news, we have reports of Fedor Holz documentary, WSOPE main event guarantee being increased and to conclude the weekly recap, we have tournament report of the inaugural PokerStars Live Sunday Million.
