Like a hurricane the 2017 WSOP swept all the world of poker into its enticing vortex and finally the much-anticipated $10,000 Main Event is on its last leg. The event temporarily shuts down till July 20 when the play resumes with the final nine battling it out for the most prestigious title in poker. The coming week will also mark the first instance of us reporting about a WSOP Main Event champion in July itself.

Online Railbird Report

The WSOP was a memorable experience for players and railbirds alike, but as they say, all good things come to an end and with most of our top pros in Las Vegas for WSOP, the virtual felts have been rather quiet and these past few weeks have seen only a consistent few making good scores. The dull scene at the virtual felts continued this week as well, with only a few scores and the one that takes the precedence above others, is Anmol ‘anmols’ A Srivats who made two notable scores. First, he shipped the PokerStars ‘Omania $109 PLO [6-Max, Saturday Special], $15K GTD’ pocketing $4,111.74 and went on to ship the PokerStars ‘Big $33, $5K GTD’ for $1,265.66. With the combined score of over $5,300 Srivats takes our “PokerGuru Star of the Week” title!
