WSOP has overridden all else and practically every rise and fall in this edition of GPI is affected, due to the mega series presently underway in Las Vegas. While Dan Smith manages to hold on to the top seat, there are many changes with players turning ranks, as they notch up scores. Anthony Zinno rides into the Top 10, with a bracelet in his portfolio.

In the Top 300, most of our Indian origin players rise, except for Ravi Raghavan and Shyam Srinivasan.

We begin an overview of the GPI WSOP Player of the Year Top 10 this week, where Mike Gorodinsky is currently on top.

2015 GPI WSOP Player Of The Year

With events every day, full of surprises, the GPI WSOP ‘Player of the Year’ leaderboard is equally volatile, as names keep interchanging, according to scores made.

Anthony Zinno, who has won Event 60 is at 2nd place.

Shaun Deeb has made six cashes this WSOP, including four final tables and a bracelet win. He is now at 3rd place.

Paul Volpe has not been able to catch a bracelet yet, but six WSOP cashes, including three final tables and two runner up finishes have brought him to No. 4 position on the list.

Brian Hastings was the first this WSOP to bag two bracelets, in Events 27 and 39. He also has six cashes and is currently at 5th place.

Like Volpe, Stephen Chidwick has missed the gold, but has seven cashes, including a 2nd place finish in Event 41 and thus, he sits in 6th place.
