PokerBaazi`s flagship tournament series PokerBaazi Premier League (PPL) Season VI has been a smashing success with record-breaking numbers in all events. The 5-day series featuring 24 exciting events took flight on May 10 and has already crowned eight champions in the first two days.
PPL continued the momentum with 841 entries on Day 3 and 803 entries on Day 4. The biggest winner so far in the series is Pradeep ‘lionroar’ Sharma, who won the record-breaking High Roller event for ₹10,22,625.
The series concludes today with the highlight event of the series i.e. ₹50 Lakhs Guaranteed Main Event at 10 PM tonight where a massive 10 Lakhs is to be won by the 1st place finisher.

Day 3:
The action at PPL Season 6 got even better on its third day with poker players from all across the country joining the action, generating a massive ₹55 Lakhs in total prize pool through the day! The third day had four events on its schedule with the highlight event of the day i.e. ₹25K High Roller event attracting a record 202 players creating a mammoth prize pool of ₹50,50,000, making it the biggest High Roller event in the country till date.
75K GTD Re-Entry
The ninth event of the series attracted 304 hopefuls including 136 re-entries creating a prize pool of ₹1,52,000. ‘slimshady’ outlasted the field to win ₹30,400 followed by ‘flyingmuck’ who took second place for ₹22800.
1 LAKH GTD 6-Max R+A
The next event on schedule was the 1 Lac guaranteed 6-Max Rebuy + Addon event which attracted 149 players taking the prize pool to ₹2,35,000. When the dust settled, it was Akshay ‘sherlock52’ Nasa who emerged as the champion for ₹49,350 followed by ‘Highness’ who finished in second place for₹36,425. Kanishk ‘gooner1317’ Upreti took third place for ₹27,613.
25K HIGHROLLER
The ₹25K buy-in High Roller event attracted an unprecedented field of 202 entries including 41 re-entries to create a massive prize pool of ₹50,50,000 making it the biggest High Roller event in the country. Outlasting them all was Pradeep ‘lionroar’ Sharma who took home an impressive ₹10,22,625. Tournament organizer and Kolkata-based poker pro Shashwat ‘shash26’ Agarwal took second place by winning ₹7,70,125. ‘BadBeatFish’ seized the third position for ₹5,80,750 followed by ‘Ferrari88’ who pocketed ₹4,28,250 for his fourth-place finish.
60K GTD Turbo Freeze-Out
The final event of the day attracted 186 entries and topping them all was Adnan ‘Thedaddy’ Ahzam who grabbed the top place for ₹22,320 followed by ‘hellopoker’ who won ₹16,461 for his second-place finish.
PPL Leaderboard
The Leaderboard standings after Day 3 saw ‘pranav.bang1’ taking the top spot with 992 points followed by ‘slecker’ with 957 points and ‘spacecadet’ was in third position with 890 points.
Day 4
The fourth day of PokerBaazi Premier League VI played out six exciting tournaments.
The first event of the day was the 50K Guaranteed Rebuy +Addonevent, which attracted 141 entries creating a prize pool of ₹1,02,000. ‘Mukeshjain’ emerged on top for ₹21,420 followed by ‘mafiamessi’ who won ₹15,810 for his second-place finish.
80K GTD (R+A)
The 14th event of the series saw 120 players ponying up the buy-in to create a prize pool of ₹1,40,400 and Chennai’s Pavan ‘PavanJain’ Gundesha outlasted the field claiming a payday of ₹30,888. Akshay ‘sherlock52’ Nasa continued his good run in the series and banked ₹23,166 from his second-place finish.
1.5 LAKHS GTD (6-Max Re-Entry)
The third event i.e. the ₹1.5 Lakh Guaranteed 6-Max Re-entry event attracted 158 runners creating a prize pool of ₹2,95,000. ‘Bhrami’ seized the top position for ₹59,738 followed by ‘Button_hai_bro’ at second place for ₹44,988 and Dinesh ‘Daddu26’ Pilkhwal won ₹33,925 for his third place finish.
5 Lakhs GTD (PLO 2R+A)
The main event of the day was the Pot Limit Omaha (2 Rebuys + Addon) with a massive ₹5 Lakhs guarantee. The event saw a field of 101 runners and created a massive ₹10,60,000 prize pool. Once the last hand of the day was dealt, it was Vivek ‘Ishoveonyou’ Rughani who emerged on top claiming a payday of ₹2,54,400 followed by another notable player Sahil ‘bluffme19’ Chutani who finished second for ₹1,80,200. Akshay ‘AkshayP’ Pathak managed to grab the third spot and pocketed ₹1,27,200 for his efforts.
50K GTD (Freeze-Out)
The fifth event of the day kicked off at 11 pm and saw 162 players contending for a share of the ₹81,000 prize pool. Mumbai’s Avinash ‘spacecadet’ Tauro took the top spot for ₹16,403 followed by Paawan ‘ukissmyace’ Bansal who pocketed ₹12,353 for his second-place finish.
1 LAKH GTD (Turbo R+A)
The final event of the day was the ₹1 Lakh Guaranteed Turbo Rebuy +Addon event which attracted 121 entries creating a ₹1,78,000 prize-pool, and by the end of play Prateek ‘khotasikka’ Singh outperformed the field taking home ₹39,180 followed by ‘himanshu.zak’ who won ₹29,370 for his second-place finish.
PPL Leaderboard
The Leaderboard standings after Day 3 saw ‘sherlock52’ moving up the charts to take the top spot with 1643 points followed by 50K GTD (Freeze-Out) champion Avinash ‘spacecadet’ Tauro with 1361 points.
