The featured event of the PokerGuru Tour May Edition saw 63 runners putting up the INR 25,000 buy-in making for a prize pool of INR 15,75,000 (100% payouts) with INR 6,25,000 going to the winner. The event was played out across 2 days: on May 12th the tournament played down the money i.e. from 63 players to the final six, who returned on May 13th to battle it out for the Main Event title. Goa based Tournament Regular – Husain Lakdawala was the last man standing and maneuvered himself to the top spot on the final table for a well deserved win!
At the end of day 1 it was the Young Gun of Poker – Nitish Gupta who had collected the most chips – 265,000, with Subhash Goenka having the lowest stack of 46,500.

The short-stacked Subhash managed to get an early double up but couldn't hold on. In a pre-flop all-in his
