Fedor Holz Wins Third High Roller This Summer, Tops GPI Charts

Fedor “BrickAndCRAI” Holz (cover image) has been playing poker for five years now and has reached a hot spot with his fifth cash at a high roller this summer, with three of those being first place finishes. Holz hit the top of the Global Poker Index (GPI) rankings last week and further consolidated his position by defeating 30 players at the Aria $25,000 High Roller XXXIV for $276,012, after a heads up deal with Stephen Chidwick, who took home $235,188 on Friday, June 17.

The German youngster has made almost $5 million in the past two months alone, taking him to the No. 1 spot on his country’s All-Time Money list.

Holz began his High Roller ride first with a seventh place finish in the $50,000 NLH High Roller for $ 122,400 on May 27. Just a day later, he made a runner-up finish in the $300,000 Super High RollerBowl for $3.5 million amidst 49 players.

On Jun 3, he won the Super High Roller 9 for $ 637,392, after a deal with Domnik Nitche, in a field of 40. Seven days after that, he again won the Aria High Roller 32 for $ 393,120, defeating 39 players.

Holz’s latest win saw him with the chip lead before the final table began and he eliminated Ivan Luca at third place claiming a crucial pot to win the event. Luca held against Holz’s and the latter got there with the river delivering .

In all, Holz has made 11 final tables in 2016, with four titles and for $9,128,265. His total live earnings stand at $13,090,266.

Few know that Holz, 22 has his own staking and mentoring activity, since 2013, besides being a regular donor towards charities. He began playing poker in 2011 and travels the world playing top tournaments.
