Complete WSOP 2017 Schedule Released

It’s here! The world’s most awaited poker tournament has released its final schedule, marking the countdown to May 30, 2017, which is when the World Series of Poker (WSOP) begins at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas!

After releasing its partial weekend schedule in early January, WSOP has now announced a full roster of 74 events, which will end on July 17, with the Main Event.

 

 

Regular Events

The $10,000 Main Event will have three entry-flight days, July 8, July 9 and July 10 and a starting stack of 50K chips, with two-hour levels. The event will play down to the lucky November Nines, finally crowning a champion late in the year.

Qui Nguyen was the 2016 Main Event winner, defeating an entry-crowd of 6,737.

Other regular events will include the Millionaire Maker (June 10 – June 11) and the Little One for One Drop No-Limit Hold’em (July 11 – July 13), Monster Stack (June 24 – June 25), Seniors No-Limit Hold’em Championship and Super Seniors No-Limit Hold’em (June 16, June 18) and the Ladies No-Limit Hold’em Championship (July 7).

 

New Additions

Several new events have been added and in keeping with its policy to attract recreational players, many have smaller buy-ins.

These include:

Event 8: $333 WSOP.com ONLINE No-Limit Hold’em(June 3), which has unlimited re-entries and will unfold online at WSOP.com Nevada.

Event 19: THE GIANT – $365 No-Limit Hold’em(June 9) again an unlimited re-entry event, will have payouts every flight and weekly Day 1 flights and a Day 2 restart July 8.

Then there will be Event 2: $10,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold’em Championship, which will begin early and allow teams of two to four people.

Event 23: THE MARATHON – $2,620 No-Limit Hold’em(June 12) will run for five days, giving players a starting stack of 26,200 chips at 100-minute levels.

Another significant new event will be Event 39: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Super Turbo BOUNTY (June 20) which will have 20-minute levels and each bounty worth $300.

With each passing year, Indian participation has been not growing by number of entries, but also with increasingly significant scores.Indian Participation

Last year, players such as Raghav Bansal, Ankit Ahuja, Aditya Agarwal and Aditya Sushant were some of those who had a great outing at WSOP.
